Terms of Service

1. The service

OnTap provides access to useful software Tools, discovery features, featured applications, and related information. Optional accounts provide Saved Tools and account settings where available. Explicitly authorized creator workspaces can store private listing drafts and source packages for format checks; an upload does not execute or publish an app. Self-service creator publishing, payments, and payouts are not currently offered.

2. Eligibility

OnTap is a general-audience utility service and is not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service, and you may not use it if applicable law prohibits you from doing so. OnTap is currently offered and marketed to users in the United States; access from elsewhere is at your own initiative and risk.

3. Tool results

Tools provide estimates, transformations, and general information. They are not a substitute for professional financial, tax, legal, medical, safety, or other specialist advice. You are responsible for checking important inputs, assumptions, and outputs before relying on them.

4. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with availability, submit unlawful material, or use a Tool to harm others.

5. Intellectual property

OnTap’s platform design, branding, and OnTap-created content are owned by the operator or its licensors. Tool creators retain ownership of their submitted code and content subject to the separate Creator Terms and any written onboarding agreement.

6. Feedback and Tool requests

You may submit suggestions without transferring ownership of pre-existing intellectual property. You grant OnTap permission to use non-confidential ideas and demand signals to improve the service or build related Tools. Do not submit secrets or confidential information.

7. Availability and changes

OnTap may change, suspend, remove, or correct Tools and content. The service may contain errors or experience interruptions, and availability is not guaranteed.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties not expressly stated here. OnTap is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Suspension and termination

OnTap may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform, third parties, or legal compliance. Questions about a restriction can be sent to support@ontaptools.com.

10. Operator and governing law

OnTap is operated by its founder as an individual sole proprietor. These Terms and any dispute involving the service are subject to applicable United States law.

11. Changes to these Terms

Material changes will be dated and posted here. Continued use after an effective change may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
